The PhD Program Regenerative Sciences is part of Hannover Biomedical Research School (HBRS). Therefore, the rules governing HBRS also apply to the PhD Program Regenerative Sciences.

Decisions which are specific for the PhD Program Regenerative Sciences are taken by the PhD Committee. These decisions include e.g. the selection of new students, approval of the co-supervisors, organisation of the intermediate and final exam. The committee currently has 13 members plus 3 substitutes. The committee members represent the different institutions that belong to REBIRTH as well as each year of students. Chair of the committee is Professor Christopher Baum, vice-chair is Prof. Brigitte Schlegelberger.
