Research Areas

The REBIRTH Cluster of Excellence is devided into four Areas, as shown in the interactive illustration below:

A.

Regenerative biology with specific aims relating to (cell) reprogramming, differentiation, organogenesis and aging;

B.

Reconstructive therapies in preclinical models with cell therapy, tissue engineering, functionalized implants and the necessary technologies;

C.

Translation with imaging and clinical studies;

D.

The overarching, cross-functional Area D, which brings together the various training programmes.
