Production and purification of recombinant proteins

Research Focus

This unit devotes its activities towards the production and purification of recombinant proteins. These activities encompass the development of novel production and purification procedures as well as cell physiological studies on protein producing recombinant cells. Within “Rebirth” it is our task to supply other researchers of this Consortium with (novel) bioactive proteins and other biomolecules required for (stem) cell cultivations and tissue engineering purposes as well as with bioengineering support for cultivation processes.
